Commercial or Glamour

Your height can exclude you from certain modelling fields. For instance if you're a girl under under 5'9'' you'll probably find it very hard to break into fashion modelling. But whatever type of modelling you're interested in you need to be very slim, well proportioned, have good bone structure and distinctive features.

Models in the commercial or glamour markets tend to be firm, well toned and well proportioned. But shorter women can be models too! Short girls with great bodies often model swimwear, lingerie and take on glamour work. There are even girls exclusively involved in speciality modelling: hand models, leg models, foot models - all sorts of body parts. Concentrate on your strengths… if a particular bit of your body is truly gorgeous then love it, care for it and show it off!
