Castings - what are they for?

If you're successful and you're lucky enough to get on an agency's books, your agency will promote you to clients by arranging a 'casting'. The number of models attending a casting varies from a few girls to as many as thirty five

If you're invited to a 'studio' casting, be prepared for some photographs to be taken - you might even be recorded on video. You'll be given a brief on the style required beforehand by your agency so make sure you take the right style of clothing along!

Castings lead to a selection and if you're selected, congratulations… you've got your first modelling booking!
